June 29th 2018 Show

My mighty steed’s hooves pounded the hardened trail like rhythmic thunder, the ground trembling as the great black beast raced across the meadow. He slowed for a small rise, picking his way hurriedly up the grassy hill between trees and rocks, dodging low-hanging branches, and deftly swerving around flowering shrubs and prickly clumps of bushes. Sunlight peeked between the boughs and limbs to dance across his mane and tail, so black in colour that they appeared dark purple in the light. As we reached the top of the escarpment, I glanced back for only a moment to see if my pursuer was still on the hunt. I frowned to see he was still there, a huge man bedecked in dark crimson leather and chain mail that was brassy in colour. Yet he wore no helmet. Instead, his thick snowy white hair lifted and tied at the back of his head.

I had been happily on my way to a *play date* with a very powerful wyvern. It was going to be an epic battle. Then this hunter started chasing me. Or was he an assassin? A soldier? Perhaps it was Seb in a wig, chasing me down to subdue my rebellion and have his way with me.

I kicked my horse in the sides with my boots, but not hard, there was never a reason to be kicking a horse hard. Horses are highly intelligent and mine was exceptional. He knew we were being pursued. He loved to run. He could read my mind. He knew what to do. We were as one. I named my horse Cloud. Because, well, the world was full of black horses named Ebony, so I decided the only proper name for MY black horse would be Cloud or Snow. It just made sense. To me. Down the rocky hillside Cloud went as fast as he could without toppling. I felt my guts pushing into my ribs, the jarring descent proving most uncomfortable.

He hit level ground in a dead run, bolting across the grassy plain at top speed. I felt the heat rising from his body, his laboured breaths coming in fast and sharp, the sweat from his skin permeating my trousers, which were skin tight to show off my fine, firm ass. A hardened ass from spending so much time on horseback. I did not use a saddle because I could never make the damn things stay on. I’d cinch the bitches up as tight as I could but every time, I’d go to put a foot in a stirrup and the saddle would slip to the side. This proved so frustrating, and my mother wasn’t always around to do it for me, so I decided, screw it. I will learn to ride bareback. Thus, my firm, hardened ass which had sculpted itself over time to accommodate my horse’s back in comfort. Yes, it was a fine, firm ass and firm thighs, well-muscled to be able to cling to my steed like a burr stuck in a cat’s tail.

I clung to Cloud as we raced towards swampy bottoms laden with dead trees from which hung drapes of ancient mistletoe. Fog canvased heavily in this place. Perhaps we could lose our pursuant in the mist. Cloud slowed, his hooves clopping through the sloppy ground. The lathered beast tossed his head back and he nickered softly in protest to the stench of this place. Senses on high alert, my mesmerising bluish-grey eyes scanned the boggy slough for sign of Drowners or Water Hags. Cloud finally stepped up on dry land. We sat a moment, relaxing as I perused the direction from which we had just come. No rider approached. I had given him the slip.

Suddenly, a hare bolted from a small bush, startling Cloud who leapt up, unseating me, as I had been fully relaxed, my thighs completely at ease. I fell from my mount and landed hard, knocking the wind from my body. A billion pinpoints of light burst in front of my eyes as my vision blackened. I gasped for breath, trying to remain conscious. I dragged myself to my feet as my vision cleared, air returning to lungs, blood and body. And then I saw him. The sly bastard, watching me through the bullrushes at the edge of the mire. I glared at him. He had dropped off his horse so that he could crouch down and creep forward unseen.

“What do you want,” I yelled, the sound of steel scraping against scabbard as I drew my sword. “Who are you? Why are you vexing me?” I crouched down a bit, extending my left arm as I raised my sword, taking two steps back then circling around to the left and creeping forward, hoping to bedazzle him with my prowess and style. He stood to his full height, drawing his sword. I assured myself size did not matter. Even though I knew for a fact that size DID matter… not so much length as width… well, it’s a lot easier to feel something big than something tiny.

I bit my bottom lip as I appraised the handsome lech, tall and powerfully built, looking like pure evil in leather and chain. He was way bigger and stronger but I was smaller and faster. I doubted I could take him in a physical battle but was sure I could most likely give him a nervous breakdown if I could draw him into a conversation. Not because I was a witch, but because I was a woman. I raised my sword overhead, tilting my right hand to point my blade directly at his face as I started to undulate towards him deliberately slow like a cobra seeking to enchant. I looked him in the eye and saw the cat-like slits he had for pupils. “What do you want from me? Why do you pursue me? Speak! Or do I intimidate you so much that your tongue has retreated?”

He swung at me and it was all I could do to dodge his reach, rolling to the right through the dry grass. Damn! He was too smart to engage in conversation with me, for he knew if we got to talking, I would soon enough have him totally confused and forever unsure as to what was what. After all, I was a woman and well-learned in the skills of confusing men with my dulcet tones. I glanced to the hillside, considered running, decided I would not get far, and then I charged him, unleashing a battle cry that I had learned from my mother the time she found out my dad had used her best Tupperware to store his screws, nuts and bolts in. He parried and steel sang out against steel, my arm rippling from the shock of his strength.

I crouched down, scooping up sand and rose, tossing it into his face in one fluid movement. I then lunged at him, throwing all my body into his, all my weight, knocking him off his feet and into the dust. Falling on top of him, we struggled, he rolled me over crushing me with his weight, so naturally I bit him on the cheek. Hissing and spitting up at him, he pinned my arms. I could feel his strong hands holding my wrists, his chest pressing down hard on my curves, his thighs immobilising mine. I glared up at him as he leaned his face into mine, so close I could feel his breath warm upon my lips. He considered me for a moment in silence, then his full lips parted and he growled, “Welcome to the weekend!”

He then stood up, yanking me to my feet. I scowled at him and he scowled back. “You have a show to do. It’s Friday night. So exit this game, log into Second Life… quit hiding the fact that you are a video game addict behind ‘I don’t feel good, I’m tired, I need sleep, I need to do dishes, I need to do homework, I need to do laundry’ and log into Second Life and GET to your SHOW!!!!”

My face fell. Defeated, I stamped in the dirt. “Fine. Asshole Witcher, you are.”

He almost smiled. “I’ll see you tonight after the show.”

“Bah!” I bellowed. He slapped my ass as I turned to walk to Cloud. “You better expect to be putting out tonight,” I yelled back at him. “And I want a REAL battle and a REAL conversation!”

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
It is such a fun up beat song, and I just thought we could have so much fun with it and get the audience dancing in their seats a little

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
Honestly not much.. other than I finally realized it was the one I wanted.. The theme I thought would be easy.. I was wrong.. lol You’d think a Summer theme would be easy to find a song for, for me I was stumped.

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
No deep meaning here other than I just wanted people to dance and smile and have fun…

Mr. President – Coco Jambo

Jilley is a cow and never does the mini-interviews! So I have decided to answer her questions for her. *rubs hands together and mutters, “This is going to be fun.”*

It’s like she knew. She somehow knew I was going to answer her questions for her, so to FOIL MY PLANS she… for the first time EVER!!… answered one of the questions! Humph. Well. I suppose I will include her own answer here, in her own words.

What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
This song had no special deep meaning…..It is just a fun and upbeat tune that I love ……. and Babypea and I look damn hot. Oh and there is a bar with a hot barman, serving lots of yummy cocktails! Barman…..drink please, keep em coming!!!!

But what she really meant to say regarding her true motivation for this dance is as follows. She is just shy:

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
I saw Babypea’s ass and thought, ‘OMG that is the BEST ASS EVER, I must feature it in a dance! A bikini, to show off those fine firm buns… yes, a beach set!!

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
Trying to control my racing heart every time I would look at Pea’s ass. Made rehearsals difficult, so I finally decided I had to rehearse using an alt. Having Pea’s ass there was just too much excitement for me, and was messing with my concentration.

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
It’s all about Babypea’s fabulous ass, and paying homage to it.

4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
Please IM me if you are interested in joining my new group, Pea’s Ass Fans, which will feature special Pea’s ass tags, a new ass shot each week, special events such as the open mic “What Pea’s Ass Means To Me” spoken word contest, plus other perks.

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
I picked these songs for the summertime party vibe, I wanted it to feel like we were in Miami Partying an celebrating Summer.

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
This set just came to me, I had seen a lot of things I wanted to use for a set, the only think I would say is the biggest challenge for me still placing all the balls.

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
It was just fun, I’ve never been to Miami, so I brought Miami to The Empire room, or at least I hope I gave it that vibe.

4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
Just having fun, enjoy the waves kicking up and let your mind escape to the Miami Coast, with that vibe taking over you’re soul.

June 22nd 2018 Show

It was getting late. Wasn’t it always getting late? Well anytime anything sinister was about to happen. The sun was starting to drop down in the northwest. Being in Australia, the sun rose in the northeast and set in the northwest. What is it called when the sun is directly overhead… not north, south, east, or west but in the direct centre of all directions. What direction is that? Straight up? Is there a word for that direction? High noon? There was no such thing as high noon in Australia. The sun was never directly overhead.

But I digress. I use the word ‘digress’ in a sentence, as though I actually truly know what it means, when in fact I am only using it as I have heard others use it, not truly knowing it’s definition. We do that all the time as humans, don’t we. What does it really mean? Digress: leave the main subject temporarily in speech or writing.

But I digress from my digression.

I was walking down the street, well on the sidewalk in our little conventional-box-home neighbourhood. I had of course just gotten off the bus and was walking towards my house that looked like every other cookie-cutter house in this cramped compound with the tiny front yards, houses perhaps ten feet apart and eight-foot-tall privacy fences encasing every backyard. I stepped off the tree-lined curb to cross the road of the cul-de-sac wherein was found my home as part of a tiny semi-circle of houses.

It had rained recently, and water droplets splattered from my sneakers with each step as I approached the other side of the street. I glanced to the curb as I approached, deliberately avoiding making eye contact with the sewer that ran like a big gaping mouth along a portion of the curb. I turned slightly that I would arrive at the curb to the right of the sewer, thereby preventing me from having to interact with it. I detested sewers. I had never trusted them and always tried to avoid noticing them. Or more like, tried to avoid them noticing me. I was always sure they were aware of me, and watching… always watching. Waiting. Waiting for me to get close enough that I would slip down their slopes and be swallowed whole by their orifices, to fall into some bottomless pit and be forever trapped or worse, just gone… falling falling falling forever.

Yes, I suffered from severe cloacaphobia, a fear of sewers. Ever since I was a child, I was convinced they had intelligence. They were an entity of sorts.

Sewers were the spawn of evil and what horrors stewed in their secret chambers was the work of devils and Mrs. Kraus, my former Algebra teacher… that old bitch. Trolls lived under bridges and Algebra teachers lived in sewers. I was sure of it. Stagnate water and mosquito breeding grounds, or swift, raging underground rivers, collections of waste and rubbish, or echoing howls of things not of this world (like Algebra teachers), lurking shadows, and the wailing of the damned (like Algebra students)… I just knew whatever was to be found in sewers, none of it in my mind was good.

My heart always started beating a tiny bit faster when I had to avoid a sewer. I would be fine as soon as I was up the curb and back on the sidewalk. But this time, something caught my eye. Something white and a bit large caught the light, reflecting from inside the sewer. I paused, always a bad idea. Curiosity always got me into trouble. I knew I should just keep going, but it was almost like, I had to know… I had to solve the mystery, least IT come slithering out of the sewer and follow me home. I had to find out for sure.

I leaned down a bit and looked directly into the sewer, my eyes struggling to adjust to the darkness I was peering into. Something white moved. I tilted my head and squinted, creeping a bit closer. My fingertips braised the damp blacktop of the street. WHAT the FUCK was it!! Red, I could now make out the colour red. I leaned in. Red… nose! White grease-painted face, wild orange hair sticking straight up and clear eyes that seared into me with an intense, luring stare that seemed to want to devour my soul. And big, fat red lips that suddenly curled into a devious smile, revealing big teeth. The lips parted and the clown chided, “Welcome to the weekend!”

I stood back up and stamped the ground with my right foot. “Dammit Billy, you almost gave me a heart attack! Get out of there and get home! It’s getting dark, you idiot. We’ve got a show to do tonight, so get moving.”

My brother, Billy. He did love to hide in sewers and freak people out. Just for fun. No wonder I had cloacaphobia. And sure enough, IT was dragging itself out of the sewer and following me home. Laughing at me. Idiot!

Scatman (Ski Ba Bop Ba Dop Bop)

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
I love this song, love scat and love the energy! It gives me dancing feet in RL so I thought it would be a heap of fun to dance to in SL.

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
Getting my other half to go shopping and buy the suit! I also could NOT get the timing right on the waypoints when the trio dance to the side and back again. He kept arriving after the girls or before, not in time with them, even though the times were exactly the same for all three dancers and the distances between waypoints for all three dancers from start to finish remained the same. It makes no sense. I spent several hours adjusting the timing on the waypoints and no matter what I tried, nothing worked. I finally got them tolerable but they are still not right. It is annoying to work this long and hard on a dance and find it utterly impossible to remedy an ugly spot. I have never had this happen before with waypoints and still am mystified as to why.

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
It is a ton of fun, slick, bouncing, and a really good time.

4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
Scatman John actually really did stutter in RL and yet he sang so brilliantly. I think he was amazing and inspiring. I agree with him, the stutter and the scat are the same thing. It’s like most things in life, all about perspective.

It is a good Justin Timberlake song, and they are always good to choreograph dances to.
Its a nice catchy number too that you dont get sick of when you have to listen to it for hours working on a dance.
Plus I already had a good set that works with the dance.

This is a fun dance, no deep meaning, just enjoyable.

When Doves Cry – Shaman’s Harvest

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
I fell in love with “When Doves Cry” a long time ago when it was originally released by Prince. It holds a lot of memories for me in general, and when I stumbled on the acoustic cover by Shaman’s Harvest, I just had to find a way to bring it to life in an original way. I’m sure there are a lot of ways to do the song, but I wanted to do something very different than what you might see, so I tried to avoid any colors or elements that would be reminiscent of the original artist and landed on nighttime at the ocean and a very minimal set.

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
For this act, it was entirely set based. I’ve not worked with actual waves in a set before and these beasties want to move around no matter where I anchor them. So there’s always some last minute adjustments to make while standing and waiting for the intro music to go away.

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
I first listened to “When Doves Cry” when I was in my teens and was having some rough days. It just spoke to me and was kind of haunting. It always stuck with me and I thought that it was telling a story of passion and desire and transformation. The costume chains represent the parts of the song that speak to me of being restrained and boxed into certain roles and trying to escape the limited boxes of our lives. I decided to represent the struggle to change things while being held back at the same time with those and the costume change from flowing material that hides some of the chains down to only having chains and gems on to represent breaking free from what hides us while still feeling held back.

Two sets took a while, creating the streaming text across the back of the stage, the heart beat monitor, the clouds to look just right to present a view of heaven

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
I love the music and the meaning behind the song, and especially the positive messages that come out of it

4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?

That Other Girl – Sevdaliza

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
I love Sevdaliza. I like the music style and ‘edginess’ of her music. That really was the inspiration for me.

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
I wanted to use a particular graphic special effect and had to learn some “tricks” to make it work.

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
I think it speaks to a common inner desire to be someone else. To not be happy with self. Not right or wrong, but real.

4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
It’s all ‘me’. There is no “Other Girl”.

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
The songs I chose for the crowd dance are all remakes or samples of songs I grew up loving. They were a fun way to remember the past and enjoy a new twist on the classics.

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
I have a hard time keeping the animations in a crowd dance “unisex” Most acts I do are all female and have a lost of sensual movement in them, for the sake of our manly men on staff and in the crowd I try my best to keep you all from doing too much hip shakin and shimmying

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
THis was all good fun and rock for a Friday night.

4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?

June 15th 2018 Show

It was not that late, but being winter in the Land Down Under meant the sun set early. So, though it was not quite 6pm, the sun had already abandoned the scene, leaving a chill hanging in the air that exhaled frosty breath on my prickled skin. I huddled into my faux fur wrap, the balls of my feet feeling frozen with each step I took. I silently cursed having chosen pumps over snugly boots as my heels clacked on the concrete, echoing off the walls of closed shops and down shadowy alleys. I had taken a bus which, like the rest of the city, was oddly abandoned. Where was everybody? Where were all the people? Street lights and dimly-lit shop display windows didn’t do much to offer any comfort or hope of civilisation. I then became aware of a second set of footsteps, echoing behind me, following each step I took.

I didn’t want to appear worried. So it was with calculated casualness that I peered back over my right shoulder, sharp eyes scanning the misty street. And there I saw him. Only a quick glance, as I immediately returned my view to where I was going rather than where I had been, mostly because, as I said, I didn’t want to appear vulnerable. But he was back there. A tall man of course, why are tall men always the villains? Based upon my own experiences, short men are far more devious. But this man was tall, his silhouette long and lanky, and I saw the hint of long dark hair draping down from under a dark fedora. My heart leapt for a moment. Maybe it was Seb! And we could sneak down the alley for a quick tryst, finally fulfilling one of my greatest all-time fantasies! Hurriedly, I dug in my purse for my pocket dictionary to look up “tryst” and make sure it meant what I thought it meant.

But what if it wasn’t Seb? What if it was… oh gawd no, not him… I quickened my pace, seeing off in the short distance bright lights and hearing some noise. The sound of a crowd, a voice blaring over a loud speaker… a club? Civilisation! I went from fast walking to a slow trot, careful to only go but so fast in these heels. But the steps behind me quickened as well. My heart started to pound, my chest tightened. I suddenly felt I could not catch my breath! Surely I had time to make it to the club, it was just up ahead… move faster! But my feet were frozen and felt to be breaking with each step. Finally I chanced a glance back, and in horror saw it was not Seb, it was… some other long, lanky man! And he was right behind me, close enough to grab me! I could smell his musky cologne blending with the frosty night air, I could feel the warmth of his body slightly easing the chill of mine, my eyes met his and I stopped in my tracks, mesmerised.

He was not Seb, but he was still beautiful. He was gorgeous.

He smiled at me, stepping right up in front of me. I must have looked like a giddy school girl. I smiled weakly back, waiting for him to lift me into his arms, carry me down an alley and TAKE me in a manly way! He parted his lips. I held my breath in anticipation. Then he said, “Welcome to the Weekend!” He then hurried past me, up the stairs and into the club.

I turned, my eyes following him with scornful disappointment. “ASSHOLE!” I yelled. “Ya TEASE!” Humph! Next time send a short man, they know how to carry a woman off for a proper tryst! Stamping my foot, I plodded up the stairs and into the club. Perhaps I would find him and throw a drink or a crab salad on him for not ravishing me. What was this place? The Empire Room. Where a dance troupe, Elysium Cabaret, were about to perform. I settled down with a martini and enjoyed thawing out as I waited for the show to start. Maybe I would like this. Maybe I should audition and become a dancer?! That would make him sorry for not carrying me off when he had the chance, once he saw me on the big stage. That would teach him to be a gentleman, dammit! What was in the show? Let’s take a look!

June 8th 2018 Show

I was reclined on a train, sound asleep and most likely snoring, on my way to Melbourne. Every now and then, I would stir and waken, look around, then close my eyes again, thinking of the show that I was missing and hoping it was going well. Hoping the alarm woke my other half up in time to DJ and log in my av who was dancing in Adam’s dance. In going-on six years, I have missed few Elysium shows. Doing so causes me to worry lots. Can the show survive without me? Will everything still come together and happen without me there to micromanage busy details and put out fires? Okay, I am being cheeky here. Facetious even. With Paul, Jilley, the Gman, and Wiz, plus a professional, dedicated staff of choreographers and dancers, this show hardly needs me. All reports assured, the show was fantastic, and no one even noticed I wasn’t there. Especially since my avatar was logged in and performing in Adam’s dance….

Where was I, you ask? Oh. You didn’t ask. Well. Allow me to display some attention-seeking behaviour by telling you anyway. My daughter recently turned 18 in RL and wanted to get mother/daughter tattoos to celebrate and commemorate this momentous occasion of her surviving an entire childhood with me as her mother. I have never had, nor wanted, a tattoo. But I thought it was a sweet sentiment, so I agreed. Thus, we were on our way to the city to get inked by the tattoo artist whose style my daughter had fallen in love with. Having zero pain tolerance, I was terrified. I am happy to report that I felt not even a split second of pain. I now have a beautiful open clam shell with a pearl and some watercolour in the background tattooed on my chest, just above my heart. Because, well, pearl is my daughter’s birthstone, and she is the pearl of my world. And she got a humpback whale, my favourite animal, in the same area of her chest. You want to see a picture, don’t you!! What? I am boring you? Oh dear!

I am now home and loving my tattoo and happy to post some pictures and even a few words from creators about Friday’s show. Thank you to all who participated, either on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience, to make it another wonderful Friday night. Welcome to the weekend!!

Wicked Game – Ursine Vulpine

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
Music is usually where I start when an idea strikes me. It’s the music that catches my attention and sort of sinks into my brain and won’t get out until I’ve built something for it. The sets, the costumes, the choreography, all of that flows out of the music itself. I’ll be sitting somewhere, listening to a DJ or driving home from work, and I’ll hear something that just reaches out and says “THIS. I must do this.” Then it doesn’t let go until I build it.

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
This dance went through about 3 different builds until I found one item at the Alice In Wonderland event. I brought it home and the set just fell into place. The music with it and the costume from another event just all built on each other.

“THE LITTLE MERMAID” [Under The Sea DubStep Remix!] -Remix

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
Bella and I have been wanting to create a mermaid routine. I didn’t have music in mind but began looking a few weeks ago when we were invited to join Elysium. I found a really fun mashup of Little Mermaid’s Under the Sea. A lot of the bubbles and moving plants that are available in SL cannot be used with the regular dance routine tools so we had to create some of our own.

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
The mermaid dance animations were new to us. Most are not fast movement so the movement doesn’t go as well with the rhythm of the music, but they are graceful and look nice with the mermaid costumes. The movement matches as a 4 beat instead of what we would normally do as a 2 beat.

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
It’s a fun song. The mermaids and animations are relaxing and make us think of the quietness and peacefulness of the ocean. The moving plants add to the tranquility. We start on the sunny beach with mermaids dipping their tails in the water – who doesn’t like the sun and beach?

4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
This is meant to be fun and peaceful and enjoy – we hope that those that see the routine will enjoy it as much as we did creating it.

Little Mix – Secret Love Song (Official Video) ft. Jason Derulo

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
Hmmm i think it was the tempo and the song is of a secret love..

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
Trying to get it fluid tho in places its not 100% perfect but it was done way back in the early days of my choreo.

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
Well it was around the time my nana passed away so in ways its more the point of i will always love her. So in ways i held back in performing this for that reason, but i’m okay today so now that time has passed.

4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
That its fun to dance infront of everyone and to show the different levels of creativity.

I apologize profusely, I do not have any pictures from the crowd dances. If anyone got any, please forward them to me and I will get them posted. I saw Elayn’s “Blues Brothers” audience participation dance set during rehearsal, and it was fanfriggentastic! I would very much like some pictures of it to post. Meanwhile, here is a pic of my tat to tide y’all over. If you scroll down a bit and pan left a little, you will get to see my left boob as well.

My daughter’s tat. Not that this has anything to do with Elysium, other than causing me to miss the show, I am just attention-seeking. *snorts*

June 1st 2018 Show

The limos cruised down the strip, passing by flashing bright lights, big spenders scurrying about in their finery, hawkers calling out over the sound of big band music. It was Friday night, there was excitement in the air… anticipation of fabulous entertainment, gorgeous stars, and sexy dancers, with an audience full of powerful men in tuxes and lovely ladies dripping in diamonds. Also the occasional pickpocket lurking in the shadows. The curtains were about to raise in The Empire Room at Copperhead Road sim, presenting one of the longest-running shows on the Strip: Elysium Cabaret was about to take the stage. Strap yourselves in and welcome to the weekend!

Simi
The Wolf and the Moon

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
I actually heard this song on my SL Mom and Dad’s Sim. My SL mom was working on her stuff for Fantasy Faire and had their radio channel on the land. I heard it and started working on the routine.

2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
Finding dance moves that to me would honor the spirit of the wolf

3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
Well I pretty much took my self out of my comfort zone. I normally dance to 60, 70’s and 80’s music, so this was actually a stretch for me. But I love wolves, to me they are one of God’s majestic creatures and they have always intrigued me.
