It was FRIDAY and not just any Friday, but the LAST Friday of the month! That means THEME NIGHT at Elysium Cabaret. What a fun theme we had this month! Pajama Party. Elysium Cabaret’s February 21st 2020 Show

Creation was on overdrive at Elysium this week. This show was full of surprises. I have seldom seen a show with so many choreographers doing things that are completely different from the genre of music and style of act that they more typically create. Our cherished audience was treated to performances that inspired, delighted, and filled a mind with wonderment. I’ve seldom felt so small before such majesty. It was glorious! Thank you to our dedicated choreographers, our team of dancers, Paul, Jilley, and Wiz for keeping everything nailed together, and DJ Gunner for the tunes. A huge thanks and much love to our audience… thank you for letting us share our imaginations with you. WELCOME TO THE WEEKEND!

I do wonder what was up with all the bananas at the show….

The after-party is really becoming a thing too, with thanks to Tempe and Jeni for dancing peeps and DJ Gunner spinning requests! Hanging out and enjoying a bit of socialising with music and dance… good fun!

We also offer a ‘best of the past month’ matinèe the last Saturday of every month at 1pm SLT, for our friends who can’t make it to our Friday evening shows. See you there!

What a special Friday this was! It was Valentine’s Day in the USA, which meant it was LOVE, Elysium-style. In The Empire Room at Copperhead Road, our talented choreographers and dancers performed dances about the the different facets of love. And in an exclusive performance, Diawa proposed marriage to her long-time partner, Nara. Congratulations to the two of you! What a memorable night. Elysium Cabaret’s February 7th 2020 Show

It was another fabulous Friday night in The Empire Room at Copperhead Road. Elysium Cabaret entertained a cherished audience with some of the finest choreographers on the grid. Their dedication and talent was appreciated by all, as they shared their imaginative creations with family and friends. There are no strangers at Elysium, just friends we haven’t met yet. Which is part of the fun of dance… meeting new people and making new friends! It is such a fulfilling social outlet as well as a creative one. Jilley and Paul welcomed arriving guests, greeting them with champagne and caviar. DJ Gunner warmed up the crowd with some fine rock and dance tunes as The Wiz wrangled the talent backstage. Babypea was found under a riser, enjoying a pre-show snack of beer and pork rinds. It was a good night! Welcome to the WEEKEND!

Elysium Cabaret – January 31st 2020 Show

It was Friday night so that means, it was Elysium Cabaret! This was the last Friday of the month, so it was our monthly theme show. Tonight’s theme was Flashback Friday, allowing our choreographers to present some of their best and most favourite acts ever. What a great show it was, some old acts, some new, all fantastic. With Paul and Jilley greeting arriving guests, DJ Gunner spinning the tunes, Wiz backstage sobering me up, the show started with a whole lotta steam and finished with a tear.
