Elysium Cabaret’s March 37th 2020 Theme Show

Another Friday night, which means another Elysium Cabaret show! Tonight was Theme night, and the theme was Modern Jukebox. What a fun theme, which made for some fun dances, and a few steamy ones… stepping back into time whilst staying right here in the present, we got a lot of nostalgia. A bit of trouble with lag for some, but still a really fun gathering of creative souls, sharing the love and joy of imaginative musical performance. Take a look at some pics from the show.

Elysium Cabaret’s March 20th 2020 Show

Another fantastic Friday night, and what a show it was! Every act was brilliant. The hard work and creativity of Elysium choreographers really shone, and WOW a lot of solos… my favourite! I love solos because it makes me feel more connected to the choreographer. I can really focus on them and their movements. A lot of genres this week as well. Featuring elaborate sets, stunning costumes and choreography sequenced to an eclectic genre of music, Elysium Cabaret offers something for everyone.

We also offer a ‘best of the past month’ matinèe the last Saturday of every month at 1pm SLT, for our friends who can’t make it to our Friday evening shows. See you there!

Elysium Cabaret’s March 13th 2020 Show

Oh boy! Another Friday night, thank gawd!! Friends, family, and strangers, who are just friends we haven’t met yet, all gathered in The Empire Room on Copperhead Road to celebrate the arrival of another weekend. Elysium-style! The sim was packed, and lag had even come to see the show, SL was having issues, but we soldiered on and put on a great show featuring some very fascinating productions. With thanks to The Wiz for keeping things backstage glued together, Paul and Jilley for all the hard work behind the scenes and greeting our arriving guests, and DJ Gunner for the tunes… all the imaginative choreographers and dedicated dancers, plus of course, our cherished audience, WOW what a show! Let’s take a look at some pics. And, welcome to the weekend!

But first, I was feeling a bit out of it tonight. A bit miserable cause, I asked Yours (Gunner) to put me on a diet. He is really good at it. He calculates the calories, carbs, fat, sugar, and protein. It’s mathematical and scientific. All my meals are planned, weighed, measured. Most the time I am doing fine with it, and my blood sugar hasn’t been this good or this stable in years. But it was getting to me today, so I whimpered to Paul. I must share his response to my starvation:

Oh if you aren’t attending the after party, you are missing out on a lot of fun. The DJ was being a bit invasive, which is another word for nosy. The lengths some people must go to, to have a bit of privacy!

Elysium Cabaret March 6th 2020 Show

HOLY COW what a fantastic show! Every act was superb, the epitome of excellence in virtual dance! I didn’t envy Wiz his job of making a lineup, with so many great acts to work with. Detailed sets, fabulous costumes, great songs, and tight choreography and mover work… truly an amazing night at Elysium Cabaret! In The Empire Room at Copperhead Road, a super fun time was had by all, as our dedicated and hard-working choreographers presented their imaginative creations, speaking to us with visual images and movement, sharing glimpses of their souls.
