Some Fridays are so relaxing. And this was one of them. Perhaps because I wasn’t doing a dance in the show. Or maybe cause it has warmed up to above freezing in real life. Or perhaps it is because the real life remodelling project is coming along so nicely. Not sure. But what a lovely night for a great show. Our inspired choreographers generously shared their creations with our cherished audience in The Empire Room at Copperhead Road. Paul and Morganna graciously welcomed arriving guests as DJ Gunner warmed up the crowd with tunes that got us all bouncing in our seats. The Wiz was backstage, organising the busy details and lashing performers into place as dancers busily applied makeup, got into costumes, and stretched out to warm up before the show. I was out the side door, smoking a fatty, when The Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta Feeling” pumped us all up, announcing the start of another beautiful show on the Big Stage. I ran back inside and strapped myself in for lift off. Here are some pics from the show, and of course!
