1. What is your history with dance in SL?
I have been a dancer for almost 5 years in sl.
2. What do you enjoy the most about SL dance?
I love the opportunity of creating something from the ground up, seeing that creation come to life, and knowing that I have brought some joy into someone’s life from what I have created.
3. What do you enjoy the least about SL dance?
I struggle to not feel inferior when I see a WOW set, dance, or interpretation of something, it makes me feel like I will never be “That Good”, but need to remember that it’s not about competition, it’s about doing what I love and doing the best that I possibly can.
4. What has been your best experience in SL dance?
Just hearing the encouraging comments when I know I’ve nailed a particular interpretation, they always make me smile and make me know my gut instinct was right.
5. Out of all the dances you have done or participated in, which is your fave?
You Will Be Found, from the day the song came out with my rl daughter screaming, “Mom, you’ve GOT to do an act to this!.” to the version of the song she found, to the message of the song and the ultimate interpretation I brought to the stage.
6. What message would you like to leave for your fans or the dance community?
Keep being encouraging and always follow your dreams. If you want to dance, don’t let someone keep you from your dreams, persevere and keep learning. To seasoned dancers, always keep learning as well, push yourself to do better with each dance and learn from past mistakes so you don’t do them again.
