1. What is your history with dance in SL?
I started (performing) In front of audiences in SL in a tribute bad 2008 then started dancing in 2010 for Chryblond Srcrybe’s live singers were i developed freestyle skills.
In early 2011 I started attending Zhaza Zerbino dance carnivals and discovered there was a dance community, and wanted very much to be apart of it.. I started performing in those and had a lot of fun. I was able to convince my boss (chry owner of Idle Rogue) to put on a dance show at her venue. In 2011 she created ‘Guerilla Burlesque’.
Presently I perform with Club IMAGE and have been with them for the past 5+ years.
2. What do you enjoy the most about SL dance?
That i can dance lol.. I don’t and can’t dance in real life but in SL i seem to do very well. I love dance in SL and RL.
I enjoy the dance community and like being apart of it.
I liked watching dancers, when they first started, like Babypea, Jilley, misse Tigerpaw, to blossom into superstars setting the bar that is set today.
3. What do you enjoy the least about SL dance?
Lol.. the very intensive. tedious work that is involved with sequencing and routes.
4. What has been your best experience in SL dance?
Winning The DQ dancer of the year award, and my 10 year anniversary party at IDLE ROGUE and at the top of my list is meeting my best friend and sl wife Nara through dance.
5. Out of all the dances you have done or participated in, which is your fave?
Thats like asking who your favorite child is.
I guess it would be ‘Pink’ https://vimeo.com/182259198
6. What message would you like to leave for your fans or the dance community?
To consider what it takes and what is involved in being a good performer. Ask for help or others opinions and try to learn and improve. Never walk around with a full glass.
7. Anything else you’d like to share?
I like being a Diva and I know everyone that dances seriously likes to feel that way about themselves.. There is no shame in it, it takes a lot of confidence to stand on a stage and perform in front of others no matter what platform you are using. Feel good and confident, and acting that way is fun and funny.. Joke about it..just don’t look down on others, try to help others. It’s human nature to measure up, just don’t hurt anyone..Dancers seem to be very sensitive lol.
Don’t “hate” try to “dislike” instead. They mean the same thing but hate is such a ugly word and saying it gives you crows feet.
