It was another exciting Friday night as the sun set and the red carpet lit up with our distinguished guests, our frams coming out to welcome in the weekend with the Elysiums, in The Empire Room on Copperhead Road sim! While DJ Ame bounced the gathering crowd with tunes, Jilley and Paul welcomed each guest with smiles and complimentary champagne. Backstage was buzzing as dancers warmed up, put on makeup, adjusted costumes, and peeked nervously between the curtains to steal glimpses of the audience, in anticipation of another fabulous show. Here is what the show looked like, with thanks and appreciation to all who participated, whether they did so from the stage or the audience:

NOT ANY REALLY I ENJOYED DOING THE SET IT WAS FUN.
3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
OHHH FOR SURE MOSTLY FUN, BUT ALSO TRYING TO SHOW RESPECT FOR THE THEME.
4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?

1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
I have been wanting to do this song for a long time, the beat just really made me want to move. With Memorial Day it all seemed to melt together perfectly.
2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
This will sound boring but this act came together like a dream, and they rarely do. So this time I am just counting my blessings.
3. What does this dance mean to you?
I always love a vintage style… but this song gives it a modern edge that really makes it entertaining.
4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
Just sit back and enjoy:)

THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE – Get Ready to RAMPAGE
1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
I just love this song, the energy in it, I love K-Pop and J-Pop.
2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
Web built the set and the choreo was a blast, but the particles were difficult because they are not named in the HUD (just texture images, and many look very similar) so changing them is hard. There are a lot of textures in the HUD, and I have to click through to find the right ones and try to remember when in the dance to change them… the song does not really have words, so particle change cues are tricky. They have to be changed manually during the dance, so it is a bit messy and is never exactly the same twice.
3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
This was pure fun and weirdness, I love the zany choreography and the costumes are so cool.
4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
I created it with Web Sass.

SEVDALIZA – HUMAN
1. Why did you choose this song to create a dance to? What was your inspiration?
~I heard the song while listening to youtube one day and could immediately see the set I wanted to build, so I ran with it.
2. What were the particular challenges you dealt with when creating this dance?
~rotation scripts are always a struggle for me, this was no exception.
3. What does this dance mean to you? Is it a bit of fun, or is there a deeper meaning?
~just creepy fun!
4. Is there anything you would like others to know about your dance?
~The lyrics say it all:
“I am flesh, bones, I am skin, soul I am human.
Nothing more than human.
I am sweat, flaws, I am veins, scars I am human.
Nothing more than human.”
We all are perfectly imperfect.
