Elysium’s March 29th Show

This will be our first show without Webby.  She was such a huge part of my life, both of them… a huge part of Elysium… a huge part of the entire dance community.  There was so much love, between her and so many other people.  We do have a beautiful show prepared this Friday, welcoming Spring and new beginnings, which was our planned theme for this show.  Sarah is doing a special tribute to Webby.  The show will be uplifting.  But also hard with the heart heavy in the chest.  Remembering Buttercup, who made things so interesting and fun and passionate.  I know she will be with us in spirit, always.  I know she got her wings and is in glory and peace.  We love and miss you so much, Buttercup.  You will always be part of us and never forgotten.

See old friends, make new friends… just relax, we got you… sit back and enjoy the show! Then join us on stage for the finale and let us dance you in a sequence of tightly choreographed tunes on a fabulous set!

We also offer a ‘best of the past month’ matinèe the last Saturday of every month at 1pm SLT, for our friends who can’t make it to our Friday evening shows. See you there!

Elysium Cabaret Show, Friday March 15th

Friday show at the Empire Room this week was as wonderful as it was diverse! Each choreographer relayed to us a story, a magical and individual art form expressed through their movements, sets and songs, coming to life in before our eyes. As audience members we see only the finished product as they share their visions one by one. In truth the choreographers give many many hours of their lives perfecting every detail with dedication and hard work. The dancers goal is move the audience to feel something, to make you smile, cheer, cry and fill your hearts. At the end of the day, when that curtain closes it is you, our audience who see and applaud for the scene before you that makes all it all worth it, and we Thank You all. Elysium Cabaret performs a mini-vintage burlesque show followed by the incredible vocal talent of Coralie Songbird who will sing a full set that includes dance accompaniment from Elysium Cabaret! This special event promises to be 90 minutes of entertainment, including marvellous live singing, exciting sets, and dazzling dances with particle highlights.
